Basel, Switzerland, September 28, 2020 - Nomad Technics has installed a new carpet throughout the entire cabin of a Bombardier Global XRS business jet which has been serviced at the company’s Basel facility during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Nomad Technics carried out a defect rectification on the Global XRS. Just before the aircraft was ready to depart the owner decided to extend his vacation in Switzerland. He asked to do additional work such as replacing the cabin’s carpet which had been ordered several months ago but was never installed as there was no ground-time available to perform the job. Immediately the company’s interior experts teamed up with the finest provider for carpets and cabin components on Friday afternoon and the job was scheduled within a few hours to start on Monday morning. The work included the shipment of the carpet to Basel, the removal of the old carpet, seats, sofas, tables and cabinets and the installation of the new interior in just one week. The team handed over the aircraft to a very satisfied customer.
