Nomad Technics provides AOG support by replacing a windshield of a Bombardier Global XRS

February 01, 2020

Nomad Technics successfully provided AOG support to an operator of a Bombardier Global XRS by replacing a broken windshield at the EuroAirport of Basel/Switzerland.

On Tuesday late evening Nomad Technics received an AOG call from a customer that their Bombardier Global XRS had a defective front windshield. The team started immediately with the order of the required parts. After the arrival of the aircraft the next morning the engineers instantly removed the right front windshield and prepared the aircraft for the installation. After the receipt of replacement parts, their installation and successful pressure testing of the aircraft’s cabin, Nomad Technics handed-over the jet to the client on time.
