Zurich, Switzerland, November 16, 2020 - Nomad Aviation has added an Embraer Legacy 600 to its aircraft management fleet which will be operated under the company’s Swiss AOC.  The business jet will be available for VIP charter and for MedEvac missions as of December 1st, 2020.
 

Basel, October 19, 2020  -  Nomad Technics has received the EASA Part-145 Maintenance Approval Extension to perform Base Maintenance work up to C-checks on the entire Airbus 320 family and the Boeing B737NG series. The maintenance approval extension is issued by the Swiss Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA/EASA).

Nomad Technics has performed its first A-checks on an Airbus A319ACJ.

Nomad Technics has received the EASA Part-145 Line Maintenance Approval for the Airbus A320 family issued by the Swiss Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA).

Nomad Aviation has successfully passed the IS-BAO Stage 2 audit and received the certificate which is issued by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC). 

Nomad Aviation increases the charter fleet following the addition of a Bombardier Global 6000 to its Swiss AOC which will be available for charter as of February 28th, 2020.

Nomad Technics successfully provided AOG support to an operator of a Bombardier Global XRS by replacing a broken windshield at the EuroAirport of Basel/Switzerland. 
 

Nomad Technics performed maintenance work and installed an
“ADS-B Out” system on a Bombardier Challenger 850. The Maltese registered aircraft is operated under a Commercial AOC.

Nomad Technics AG has received the maintenance approval / Certificate of Acceptance DL-ACC-229 issued by the Department of Civil Aviation Aruba (DCA).

Nomad Technics successfully provided AOG support to an operator of a Bombardier Global 6000 at Zurich’s International Airport.

Nomad Technics completed its first 6- and 12-month inspection on two Embraer Legacy jets at its Basel, Switzerland, facility. Maintenance tasks on the 600 and 650 series Legacy also included routine inspections and defect rectifications. The company also carried out a 750 hours inspection and aircraft weighing on a Bombardier Global 6000 on time. Deep cleaning of the aircraft including cabins concluded the maintenance events.

Nomad Aviation AG has received the full approval to operate its Cessna Citation CJ1+ and Cessna Citation CJ2+ in and out of London City Airport starting February 1st, 2019.

Part-145 Maintenance Organisation Approval Certificate to perform full line and base maintenance at its Basel, Switzerland, facility.
 

Nomad Aviation has added an Airbus A319 Corporate Jet (ACJ) to its Swiss AOC which will be available for charter as of December 3rd, 2018.

Nomad Technics completed its first 6- and 12-month inspection on a Challenger 604 at its Basel, Switzerland, facility. Maintenance tasks also included the routine inspection, defect rectification, modification and changing of wheels on the main landing gear. Deep cleaning of the aircraft and the cabin concluded the maintenance event. 
 

Nomad Aviation has started to offer maintenance and hangarage services at its Basel, Switzerland facility at the beginning of August 2018. The company, branded as Nomad Technics AG, occupies a 7’400 m2 heated hangar together with 7’000 m2 ramp space at the international EuroAirport. Hangar and ramp can accommodate aircraft up to the size of the Airbus A320 family and the Boeing 737 series.

Nomad Aviation has appointed Roman Hug as the company’s new director of maintenance and CAMO. Roman Hug is part of the management team and responsible for Nomad Aviation’s technical services. He oversees maintenance and CAMO+ matters of Nomad Aviation’s own fleet and jets under aircraft management. This includes Swiss and Maltese registered aircraft.

During the Jet Expo 2017 aerospace exhibition, which was held at Moscow’s Vnukovo 3 airport in September 2017, Nomad Aviation has signed a cooperation agreement with Russia’s JETVIP.

Nomad Aviation has appointed Thomas Koehli as the company’s Chief Executive Officer as of October 01, 2017. Koehli will lead the management team and will be in charge of the Nomad Aviation group. He succeeds his father Heinz Koehli who will concentrate more on the company expansion and his strategic role as Executive Chairman. In addition to his new assignment Thomas keeps his role in leading the Charter Sales and Ground Operations Department.

Nomad Aviation already offers Continued Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) services under EASA Part M, Subpart G to customers, which operate their own aircraft. Nomad Aviation’s managed aircraft and the fleet of owned charter business jets are also covered by the CAMO certificate.

Respective agreements between the United States of America’s Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection and Nomad Aviation AG, were signed on 18th of May 2011. As a WVP Signatory Airline, Nomad Aviation AG is entitled to fly citizens from WVP participating countries to the United States without passengers being required to hold U.S. Visas.
