Nomad Aviation Ltd. strengthens fleet for better competitive capacity

June 15, 2010

Bern-based Nomad Aviation AG recently acquired two additional Bombardier Challenger 604 to enlarge the existing fleet to a total of 3 Bombardier Challenger 604 and 1 Cessna Citation CJ1+. The integration of one Embraer Legacy 600 super mid-size VIP jet is currently in process, awaiting the approval from the Swiss Aviation Authority FOCA. Further expansion in the mid-size VIP and Executive segment are planned for the 2nd half of 2010 with the addition of 2 Gulfstream 200 aircraft and one Cessna Citation X aircraft, the fastest business jet today.
The owners of Nomad Aviation Ltd., Claude Neumeyer and Rainer Schnurr, bought the shares back from FAI to be able to provide their high quality executive charter and service skills in the mid-size, super mid-size and heavy VIP jet-segment with an extended fleet. To satisfy the demands of their limited number of highly sophisticated clients, Nomad Aviation decided to focus on their core business activity. An integration into FAI was therefore unsuitable for both parties and couldn’t generate collective added value in a long-term collaboration.
After the management buy-out and the enlargement of the fleet, Nomad Aviation has become - remaining true to its principles - the independent, competitive and exclusive company the owners always wanted to create.
Switzerland’s based Nomad Aviation offers presently three Bombardier Challenger 604 for worldwide and one Cessna CJ1+ for European Executive and VIP charter operation.
Nomad Aviation is the combination of European Tradition, Asian Spirit and Swiss Precision. A unique flying experience, tailored and designed around each individual customer’s expectations and wishes, operating at highest safety levels with a meticulous professionalism, focused on uncompromised quality standards: Truly Eurasian – Precisely Swiss.
